Herbal Medicine

"When a flower doesn't bloom, you fix the environment in which it grows, not the flower."

-- Alexander Den Heijer

An alchemically stable combination of individual Chinese herbs create potent and effective formulas that treat the root cause of health problems.  Composed of plants, seeds, and other ingredients found only in nature, this branch of Chinese medicine is often used in conjunction with acupuncture to complement the effects — needles on the outside, herbs on the inside.

Every item in the Chinese herbal pharmacology possesses its own set of properties - temperatures, flavors, directional movements, actions, indications, and cautions, and therefore as a condition changes and improves so too should the compilation of herbal combinations.

It takes into account the whole person and helps activate each patient’s natural healing processes as well as restoring their physical and emotional well-being.
